Hobbytown work
It has been an embarrasingly long time since I have done any kind of work!
But I got back from Hobbytown a little while ago, and the track work is going good. I was surprised at how many people showed up on a Wednesday Thursday night!
Work on the sprinkler system is well underway, most of the piping has been buried, all but one or two posts for the sprinklers are in and the final layout changes have been agreed on.
The track at Hobbytown is sort of between Pit Stop and XRC. It is bigger than Pit Stop but smaller than XRC. While the changes to the actual lay out of the track will be about 50%, the bggest difference is the track will be run backwards from, well, since the track was built. There will also be some surprises in the layout, it will be more difficult and technical. While it will be fast in parts, other parts will punish those who aren’t careful!
So, it won’t be long before the first race!
(Thanks for the correction Bob.)
