If you are going to Nuclear for the Meltdown and you have a generator, you need to see this.
Personel generators will be allowed, but with a few conditions. Which are all listed in the PDF linked above. That is good news. For me, I think having a catch pan for the generator is just a good idea anyway.
Also, I built something using power tools. I am not the most power tool friendly person in the world. I failed shop in high school and I have never been good with them. But I needed a work area for the back of the minivan. So after a couple of weeks planning, making drawings, I got to it and it looks pretty good!
I cut all the wood today, and not a single injury, not even a splinter. It is sitting on the floor, need to get screws, brackets, paint and caulk tomorrow, but it is almost done.
It will have room for posters, photo albums and even room for a small tv and dvd player! So it will be finished tomorrow and make its debut at Hobbytown on the 19th!
Speaking of generators, does anyone have one or know someone who might have one for sale? Used is not an issue, but it would be nice to have one.
