Happy Holidays
No I am not being politically correct in saying Happy Holidays. Saying Merry Thanksgiving, Happy Haunakkah, Jolly Kwanza whatever just takes too much time. And while I don’t particuarly care about these holidays as such, I am not one to kick anyone elses fun.
But I do think Xmas is far to dominant as a holiday. It is the marketing people that have made Xmas into what it has become. I will not give my opinions about this so as to not offend any more people than I already have this past year.But it is the Xmas music that is the scourge of this time of the year. I think it is responsible for the so called Holidays depression. Listening to excessive amounts of Xmas music can lead to very strange behavior and lead to unrealistic expectations. Which leads to depression!
So Happy Holidays, and do your self a favor, ease up on the Xmas music!
