Winter Sucks!
For me, winter really just plain sucks! Being a photographer indoor rc racing is not the place to be. And with it being below freezing for the better part of the past few weeks, no one in their right mind would be racing outdoors. That is not to say there aren’t plenty of people who would probably try!
I have had the intent to go to Bumps and Jumps for the past few weeks, and with Motorama coming up, I have been debating whether I should go. Shooting rc races indoors, even when it looks good and bright, well, it just sucks. Most of the time you have to be right on top of the track to get a good shot. And given the driving habits of many racers, that is not a good place to be. The other alternative is to use a flash. But i try not to do that since I don’t want to blind anyone, particularly a driver.
I will be going to Motorama on Sunday this year. But I will be checking out the rest of the show, so the rc stuff will not be all I will be looking at. See you there.
